I’m hosting Jenku Dietrichsen for a day of natural horsemanship and clicker training from behavioural issues to piaffe passage and everything in between.
Jenku Dietrichsen is a professional horse trainer with three decades experience in the industry and is based in Cape Town, South Africa. He specializes in innovative training techniques and always strives to stay up to date with current training methods worldwide. Jenku approaches learning from a deep understanding on how horses and humans learn naturally.
Jenku believes in training the trainer and has a rare ability to explain very intricate learning processes in “normal” English. He specializes in positive reinforcement, learning theory, ground skills and riding skills as well as natural collection and trains riders and horses in all disciplines.
Jenku’s unique combination of classical dressage, natural horsemanship, positive reinforcement and the mentality that “there must be a better way” have led him to train with competitive riders and professionals alike.
Whether you are a professional or a leisure rider we all know that small ongoing changes can, and do, reap major improvements with our horses.
